William Mulcahy


As CEO of E4 Health, Bill focuses on strategic initiatives and on driving the company’s client acquisition and retention strategies. Bill is a recognized expert on employee benefits, benefit plan integration, work-life initiatives, healthcare delivery and cost reduction efforts. Bill is a co-founder and executive partner of E4 along with Cindy Sheriff, President and COO.

Bill’s professional highlights:

  • Horizon’s Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for strategic business  development and client relationships.
  • Founded Work & Family Benefits, Inc. (WFB) in 1992, which went on to become the largest provider of dependent care consultation and referral services to employer groups in the country. WFB’s legacy business is now Aetna’s primary work/life service delivery engine. He pioneered the  distribution of these innovative services as an employee benefit via top brokers and consultants in the mid 1990s, and contributed to the  transformation of the benefits industry.
  • Senior Vice President of American Business Insurance Northeast (ABI),  then the nation’s 17th largest insurance brokerage firm.
  • Principal with CPI Insurance Group and President of CPI Benefits in  Morristown, NJ.

Cindy Sheriff

M.A., CEAP President & COO

As President and Chief Operating Officer of E4 Health, Cindy works on key strategic initiatives with a particular focus on the company’s operational excellence and product integration deliverables so as to ensure maximum client service and satisfaction, 24/7. Cindy has a national reputation within the EAP profession, bringing to E4 a world class knowledge of how to provide value and maximum ROI in an EAP benefit plan. She is actively involved in directing E4’s new, proactive and integrated LifeScopeEAP solution.

Cindy’s professional highlights:

  • President of Horizon Behavioral Services, which was sold to Aetna.
  • Built revenue growth by 55% while at Horizon.
  • Increased Horizon’s margin growth from 5% to 25%.
  • Started an EAP serving employers in western Kentucky and southern Indiana, which, through acquisition became the third largest EAP in the nation. 
  • Graduated from Western Kentucky University in 1986.

Michael A. Raciti


Dr. Michael Raciti, Ph.D. comes to E4 Health with over 25 years experience in behavioral medicine, employee assistance services, HR consultation and clinical operations. Mike directs daily operations for E4, working closely with the COO, and oversees infrastructure development and service delivery. Prior to the formation of E4 Health, he was the Chief Operating Officer and a founding partner of Sobel and Raciti Associates, Inc. and LifeScopeEAP for 22 years. Mike helped drive S&R Associates to one of the leading regional EAP companies in the U.S.

Mike’s professional highlights:

  • Holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Vanderbilt University and has been a Clinical Assistant Professor at The Brown University Medical School since 1986.
  • Was Director of Clinical Services and Training with the Center for Health Promotion at The Miriam Hospital, Providence, a Brown University affiliated teaching hospital.
  • Worked as team member in marketing and at advertising at Weightman, Inc. Advertising of Philadelphia.
  • Delivered numerous media appearances and lectures on conflict resolution, stress management, anger control, EAP services, and worksite wellness.
  • Has consulted to dozens of organizations and human resources departments throughout North America on a wide variety of issues.
  • Worked with such employers as CVS, Staples, Progress Software, Mathworks, Putnam Investments, Steward Health Care and many others.

Ameet Patel


Ameet Patel oversees technology at E4 Health and works strategically with the senior team in mapping out technology solutions that increase value for E4’s clients and partners. Ameet is also responsible for the oversight of client data management systems, web functionality, and security as it relates to HIPAA and other key industry standards and requirements. Ameet brings a unique blend of technology expertise, knowledge of behavioral health, and sensitivity to client and employer needs within the employee assistance field.

Ameet’s professional highlights:

  • Obtained an undergraduate degree in computer science from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.
  • Started his career as a developer for a software company and then moved into consulting.
  • Holds an MBA from the University of Texas in Austin.
  • Has spent the last five years working in the healthcare industry.

Missy Schrib


Missy Schrib has more than 10 years experience in the financial arena. She provides leadership and coordination of E4’s financial reporting and oversees company accounting procedures to make sure they adhere to the highest standards. In addition to managing the daily operations of the finance/accounting department, Missy also serves as a financial liaison between E4 and its board of directors.

Missy’s professional highlights:

  • Licensed CPA in Texas and accredited in business valuation.
  • Served as a co-speaker and panelist for the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
  • Began her career as a valuation services manager for Deloitte Financial Advisory Services, LLP Was the chief of staff in the healthcare provider sector of Deloitte & Touche, LLP Management Development Program.
  • Holds a MS in finance and a BBA in accounting from Texas A&M University.

Julius Schillinger

SVP, Sales

Julius Schillinger is Sr. Vice President, Sales for E4 Health. Most recently he was Vice-President, Sales & Account Management for Managed Health Network (MHN), the Behavioral Health & Wellness program subsidiary of Health Net, one of the nation’s leading healthcare companies (Fortune 250). Prior to this role, he was Health Net’s Director, Organization Effectiveness for 7 years. Before Health Net, he was Chief HR Officer for NextCard, an online consumer credit provider. Julius also spent 7 years as VP Global HR Development for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young’s consulting division, leading the company’s Human Capital & business growth consulting practice.

Julius’ writings have been published in educational journals and major newspapers, he has served on the MBA advisory board for his alma mater, USC, and for the last 25 years, has taught some of the highest student rated courses at University of CA Santa Cruz. He is a frequent speaker at national and regional industry conferences on emerging trends and cloud-based solutions for workplace health & wellbeing programs that drive business impact. He is slated to be the keynote speaker at EASNA’s annual conference (Employee Assistance Society of North America) in April 2014, held in Ottawa, Canada, leading a distinguished panel discussion on “Re-imagining EAP and Wellness.”

Thomas E. Sawyer


Dr. Tom Sawyer brings more than forty years’ experience to E4 Health as a clinical provider, senior executive and senior consultant in the healthcare industry. Tom is responsible for driving E4’s product strategy and the integration of behaviorally-based health management solutions into the LifeScopeEAP platform. For more than twenty years, Tom provided clinical services in developmental disabilities, community mental health, and behavioral medicine.

He has consulted on health benefits and clinical strategy for clients including many Fortune 500 clients such as Northrup Grumman, Toyota, and Southwest Airlines. His strategic healthcare consulting also includes extensive experience in the public sector with clients such as the State of Arizona Medicaid Agency, the State of California, and the City of Phoenix, (AZ). Tom has provided significant strategic consulting to a number of labor trusts including the Clark County (NV) Education Association Health and Welfare Trust and the Montgomery County (MD) Government Employee Organization Local 1994.

  • A wide range of experience in the design of high value health plans, population health management strategies, mobile phone based health management and ROI calculator development for employee assistance.
  • Served as Director of Behavioral Medicine for the National Center for Preventive and Stress Medicine.

Linda John


Linda John, LMSW, LCSW, is the Senior Vice President of Corporate Initiatives of E4 Health, Inc. Ms. John’s experience includes being the owner and Chief Executive Officer of Corporate Family Network (CFN), an award winning provider of employee assistance and work-life programs, before CFN joined the E4 Health family. Linda is a graduate of St. John’s University with a degree in communications and a minor in business, and was appointed a member of St. John’s President Society.

Linda’s professional highlights:

  • Held managerial positions at several marketing sales companies, achieving more than a 100% increase in sales in North America and Canada through innovative marketing and promotions.
  • After a successful 15-year career in sales and marketing, earned a Master’s Degree with emphasis on the impact of effective teams on the overall success of organizations at New York University’s School of Social Work.
  • Developed the innovative More to Life and Make it Work programs, with the methodology that enabled CFN to provide a holistic approach to assist individuals in their everyday life and support organizations achieve maximum growth and development.
  • Carved out HR/Management support services to address particular behavioral health needs through crisis intervention, behavioral risk management and management consults and referrals.
