Christian P. Michalik
Managing Director, Kinderhook Industries
Mr. Michalik currently serves as a member of the board of WellCare Health Plans, Inc. (NYSE: WCG) where he serves on the Audit Committee and the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. He is also a director of Mastro’ Restaurants, BD’s Mongolian Grill and Longevity Alliance. In addition, he serves as Chairman of Nurse-On-Call, Clinical Research Advantage, Surpass, Blitz USA and Robertson Piper Software Group.
Prior to helping found the private equity firm Kinderhook Industries, he was a partner in Soros Private Equity Partners LLC, the private equity business of Soros Fund Management LLC, from 1999 through 2003. From 1997 to 1998, Mr. Michalik was an investment manager with Capital Resource Partners, a private equity firm, prior to that he was an associate at Colony Capital, a real estate investment firm. Mr. Michalik began his career as a mergers and acquisition analyst at Salomon Brothers, Inc.
Mr. Michalik received his undergraduate degree Cum Laude from Yale University and an MBA with Honors from Harvard Business School.

Prior to joining the private equity firm Kinderhook Industries, Mr. Dempsey was a Senior Analyst at Glenview Capital Management, a long-short hedge fund, and started his investment career in the Healthcare Investment Banking group at Credit Suisse Group AG.
Mr. Dempsey graduated Cum Laude from Harvard University with a degree in Biochemical Sciences and received an MBA with Honors from the Wharton School with a joint major in Health Care and Finance.
Ruben Jose King-Shaw, Jr.
Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer, Mansa Capital Management, LLC
Mr. King-Shaw serves on the Board of Directors of several of Mansa Capital Management’s portfolio investments, including athenahealth, Inc. (NASDAQ: ATHN) where he serves as Lead Director, and Steward Health Care LLC (in partnership with Cerberus Equity Management) where he serves on the Executive Committee and chairs the Compliance Committee.
Mr. King-Shaw also currently serves on President Obama Administration’s Medicare’s Program Advisory and Oversight Commission, and since 2005 has served on the Abbott Laboratories Health Strategy and Policy Board. In 2005, New York State Governor Pataki appointed him to the Commission on Health Care Facilities in the 21st Century. Previously, Mr. King-Shaw was the Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services from 2001 through 2003 and served as Senior Advisor to the Secretary of the Treasury. In 1998 Governor Jeb Bush appointed Mr. King-Shaw to head the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).
Mr. King-Shaw currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Cornell University and as Vice Chairman of the University of Massachusetts Board.
Mr. King-Shaw was awarded his Bachelor of Science Degree with Dean’s Honors from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations where he specialized in Labor Economics. He earned his Master of International Business at the Center for International Studies in Madrid, Spain and the Chapman Graduate School of Business in Miami, FL. In addition, he holds a Master in Health Services Administration from Florida International University and completed the Executive Education Program on Corporate Governance at the Harvard Business School.
