E4 Health was founded by Bill Mulcahy, CEO, and Cindy Sheriff, President and COO. Both executive team principals have more than 30 years of experience as nationally recognized leaders in the Employee Benefits and EAP industries. Along with other members of the E4 senior management team, E4′s management has a rich history of having provided leadership in some of the nation’s most respected companies, including Unum, Horizon Behavioral Health, Aetna, MHN, Mercer and Humana. E4′s insurance and EAP-industry veterans have extensive backgrounds and credentials across the spectrum of employee benefit and EAP product/services delivery, including: enterprise management, operations, product development, sales and marketing, account management, benefits consulting, organizational development, work-family benefits, critical incident and more.

In October of 2011, E4 purchased Sobel & Raciti Associates, Inc. and established LifeScope as its EAP platform for employers. LifeScope EAP is a proven solution with a 24-year track record. On January 1, 2013, E4 Health acquired and integrated Corporate Family Network (CFN), a leading-edge provider of EAP and work-life services for over 17 years. In September of 2013, E4 acquired People Resources, Inc./Student Resources, Inc., a company providing employee assistance and student assistant services. In October of 2013, E4 Health purchased The Wellness Corporation.

With a national proprietary network of highly skilled and licensed behavioral health providers, E4 works 24/7 with employees and their families in all 50 states and Canada. E4 provides services for employers in the banking, retail, higher education, biotech, manufacturing, high tech and non-profit public sectors. We regularly partner with brokers, consultants and insurance industry experts throughout North America. The E4 Health team is comprised of leaders in the fields of employee assistance, behavioral health, insurance, work-life benefits, and crisis response consultants. On call 24/7, the E4 team is applying behavioral risk management strategies to change healthcare, reduce costs, and customize solutions for progressive employers.
In addition to our foundational LifeScope product and LifeChoice, we offer employers a robust chronic care management total solution with LifeLync. All of our solutions leverage the power of a single, integrated platform to capture individual change, progress and data. Utilizing our proprietary LifeReach assessment tool we identify preventable risk and uncover areas where we can touch the lives of employees and make a difference. E4 health provides a full suite of EAP, Work-Life, and Wellness solutions. Our internal Ask the Expert (ATE) consulting practice, led by Ph.D.-level leaders, is available with all purchased solutions, or separately for clients on request.
